Does anyone else find it odd... Bush: Al-Qaeda "smallest faction" in Iraq?

It's been bugging me all day, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Anyone else find it odd that, in Bush's speech this morning, he conceeded that insurgents backed by Al-Qaeda is the "smallest" faction in Iraq?

I can't put my finger on it exactly, but there just seems like a "feux pas" in that admission that no one has caught onto yet. Am I alone here?

I thought we were fighting al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq... but now they are only a "tiny fraction"? Hmmm.

You mean to tell me that they KNOW that Iraqi citizens are the ones running the "insurgency" and we STILL feel like there is a chance of victory. Don't these fuckers understand that as well kill more civilians (in the name of reducing the "insurgent" numbers) we'll only create a vast number of additional "insurgents"? Are they really this stupid?
