4. Floyd Abrams, famed constitutional lawyer

Floyd Abrams
From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Abrams

Floyd Abrams is a famous First Amendment lawyer. He argued the Pentagon Papers case before the Supreme Court and went on to defend numerous other clients, including defending the Brooklyn Museum of Art from Rudolph Giuliani, NBC from Wayne Newton, and Al Franken from a trademark lawsuit from FOX News Channel. His memoir is Speaking Freely (2005). Abrams is a partner at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, a law firm in lower Manhattan.

Abrams argued for The New York Times and Judith Miller in the CIA leak grand jury investigation.

2. He talks about missing blonde girls and Michael Jackson trials
and stuff like that.

He's been known to carry the right-wing talking point of the day, on occasion.

7. Not sure about that.
He seems pretty conservative on his show, but his show isn't really politics.

Hard to say.

8. just a gut feeling. i would be very disappointed to find out that
he was a repuke. i remember him back when the 2000 election was being debated and the supreme court gave its ruling. he was standing there in the cold shaking as he read it. that was before he had his own show. but he was often a guest on geraldo and similar shows.

15. He supported the invasion of Iraq
But when the media started to report on how the intelligence was cooked to support the invasion, I recall Abrams making a statement that he had been duped into supporting Bush's filthy war and that he was angry about it.

I've gotten the sense that he is conservative on some issues and more liberal on others.

6PM is my worst news void of the day. CNN has the flaming racist immigration show every damn night at the same time. I love having on demand digital cable!

17. I think Dan Abrams and ABC's Terry Moran started out at CourtTV together.
Maybe around the time of the OJ trial?

20. I checked their Wikipedia bios---both started at CourtTV
and ABC's Terry Moran was especially noted for his coverage of the Menendez brothers' trial at CourtTV.

That's where I remember first seeing both of those guys, at CourtTV.
