2. Affectionately known as MEAN JEAN
Rove wanted a junior republican from a relatively safe district to see if the coward thing would stick. It didn't. She is evil and disgusting and has no value for the constitution. In other words she is a typical conservative republican.

To answer your question, I wouldn't waste my time calling the witch at her klavern. I'd rather peruse DU.

3. It'd be great if she'd point her claw at Rove - "He made me do it!"
The Corp Media fest would be fun.

16. Good thinking, Bosshog.
Betcha you're right about how Rove put her up to it.

You must share more of this kind of insights with DU.

(Of course, maybe you do and I don't read all the threads.)

7. Just made my call
got a polite reception. I said that as an American I was disappointed that any congressperson would stoop to such tactics...that I trust she was unaware of Congressman Murtha's heroic service before launching her attack.

Nice young aide said -- not sure about that, but she was definitely "taken wrong" - wasn't talking to anyone in particular.

I said that I had observed her attack...that I wasn't buying that line for a second. She knew what she was saying...her intent was clear. She can hide behind that line...might be effective even, but that Americans knew what she meant and were really offended.

Ended by saying I hoped she'd learned something from the experience.

BTW - absolutely no problem getting through.

9. Taken wrong? "...he asked me to send Congressman Murtha a message..."

Jean Schmidt: "A few minutes ago, I received a call from Colonel Danny Bubp, Ohio Representative from the 88th district in the (Ohio) House of Representatives...he asked me to send Congressman Murtha a message: That cowards cut and run; Marines never do."

She is such a lying schmidthead!

8. Don't forget to share the scorn with Marine Reserve Colonel Danny Bubp
Read all about Ohio Rep. Danny Bubp, Swiftboat Professional.

12. I e-mailed her.
I had to fib a little about my address, as I'm not from her district. But here is the body of my comment to her:

Your message: You, lady, are an ignorant embarrasment to humanity. The man whom you slandered last week, Mr. Murtha, is a distinguished public servant with a military record that should be the envy of the Pentagon. I might ask, where were you in the 1960's when he was fighting an unjust war in Vietnam to protect your sorry ass so you would have the right to slander good citizens like himself? You maam, are a vile, slanderous whore for the repukes. You're not worthy to wash John Murtha's dirty underwear. Enjoy this one term in Congress. You have sealed your fate with this act.

You think she'll get the idea?

14. I think she has driven a stake into her own heart.
That vermin queen WILL NEVER get anything more than lots of disdain from any Dem in the house. That district will go to a Dem next time.
Yet another clown who was happy to join the list of a-hole Republicans that will drown as their ship goes down.

New slogan relating to this situation: "Apology NOT Accepted."
