so...let's take a look at the 'ol checklist
There's nothing quite so satisfying as putting that little check next to things on a "to-do" list.

To Do's
________________

1) Convince the American people that Bush doesn't know what he's doing in Iraq.

CHECK

CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, November 11-13, 2005

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?"

63% Disapprove | 35% Approve

*******************

2) Convince the American people that the war in Iraq was a mistake.

CHECK

CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, November 11-13, 2005

"In view of the developments since we first sent our troops to Iraq, do you think the United States made a mistake in sending troops to Iraq, or not?"

54% Made a mistake | 45% Did not make a mistake

*******************

3) Convince the American people that the Iraq war wasn't worth it.

CHECK

CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, November 11-13, 2005

"All in all, do you think it was worth going to war in Iraq, or not?"

60% Not worth going to war | 38% Worth going to war

*******************

4) Convince the American people that they were misled on Iraq.

CHECK

"Do you think President Bush gave the country the most accurate information he had before going to war with Iraq, or do you think President Bush deliberately misled people to make the case for war with Iraq?"

57% Misled | 35% Most accurate

*******************

5) Convince the American people that it would be better for Democrats to take back congress in 2006

CHECK

CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll. Nov. 11-13,

"Do you think the country would be better off if the Republicans controlled Congress, or if the Democrats controlled Congress?"

Democrats 46% Republicans 34%

I think the next item on the list needs to be

6. I guess my primary issue is the pack of lies the cabal used to
get their war of aggression against Iraq. Lying to Congress is such a heinous crime, it has to be sufficient to remove the lot of them. I am trying to keep that issue front and center, but I see it slipping.

7. I'm not worried about it slipping at all....
I think the notion that the cabal misled us is here to stay. The more idiot son and darth vadar try to dispute it, the more people think they are full of it. I notice it with all my independant and reasonable rightie associates.

They're swiftboating themselves!!!!! Bwahahahaha....

8. polls have shown that people don't believe Cheney....
...so the rational conclusion is the more he tries to say they were right, the more people will know they weren't right.

Really, I don't see any way that they could come back at this point. They've just done too much dirty things. Like starting a war based on inconclusive evidence, promoting torture over human rights, etc
