In southeast FL, we lose power from time to time because they're still repairing stuff from hurricane Wilma.

About an hour or more ago, my power went out as I was about to post a piece of brilliance that I have no doubt would have helped to enlighten all of humanity, and save the world.

It was so inspired, possibly by some higher power, that I can't regenerate it.

Well, it's a loss to all of us. I guess He/She/It meant it for me only. Too bad I can't remember what the hell it was, because it took me forever to reboot and get back on line.

Damn. He/She/It is probably a Republican with a cruel sense of humor.

.......why didn't you just write it down on a piece of paper? Or talk into a tape recorder until you could get back online..........

3. aw, I dunno about Cyrano

but I can't get the speed and flow on a piece of paper that I can get typing. I just can't write 90wpm. And it's much harder to edit as you write. (shrug) Technology, simplifying our lives.....

Without fail if I've just written some horrendous beautifully done, un-recreatable scene in whichever novel I'm poking today, down it goes, and Autosave shrugs at me like it's never heard of this Recover Document thang. Though if I've got a grocery list in Word it recovers THAT like it's sacred. Every time.

Apparently he doesn't want any competition for the Old Testament. ; )
