Current registered members: 80,240

I assume that means 16,610 registered members (trolls), have either been tombstoned or have asked to have their account canceled.

10. For Usenet newsgroups, the estimate is 90% lurk, only about 10% post
I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least 10 non-registered readers for every registered member--I read DU every day for about 6 months before I finally registered.
