2. It is stupid
Education of how much Wal-Mart costs all of us is more helpful.

idea. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x5336395

Though have to say seeing "The High Cost of Low Price" is also a good idea. May I add, drag along a known Wal-Mart shopper to see it too.

4. I suggest you read this thread

The fill a cart thing only hurts the workers you are supposedly trying to help.

the leave the cart behind. But the save your receipts from other stores and sending them to Wal-Mart's CEO is a great idea. As that post stated, it is not only that the money is not spent at Wal-Mart but proof the money is going to their competitors. Specially if the receipts are from people like me that support the local businesses over Wal-Marts.

8. Thought you might of
misunderstood. No biggy. And you did see the other thread with the good idea. I just think combine the two (receipt and movie) and maybe more people will stop doing Wal-Mart.

9. we can talk about this idea at the screenings
I am going to a big screening on sunday that the producer/director will be at. He also did "Uncovered" and I went to a screening with him there as well. There is a Q&A...if I have the nerve I will suggest it to the crowd.

10. Here's hoping you have the
nerve. Though I'm betting they would love the idea too. The only people it hurts is Wal-Mart while it helps the decent businesses out there that need support. Even help the post office a bit with the mailing of the receipts.

11. And there is a screening near
me, which is very unusual. Normal and hour or more drive away. That would conflict with the refusing to drive any more than I have to.

5. and tell everyone you know to see it.
Most people are completely in the dark about Walmart's practices. People who shop at Walmart really think that Walmart helps communities by providing jobs and helps the poor by selling cheap goods. Walmart will not change until people stop shopping there.
