Collin Powell has been rather quiet lately.
Has anybody noticed that? Where in the hell is Powell? I wonder if his conscience is finally getting to him. It seems he has been incommunicato a lot lately. Any theories?

John

3. Yup.
The neo cons have him chasing his tail introducing resolutions that nobody will go for, so Condi can "fix" Iraq......uh, wait, no Smirk is "in charge", or whatever.

4. Maybe
he's keeping a low profile to avoid any difficult questions about his pre-war UN presentation.

I have a hard time believing he actually has a conscience.

6. I don't believe his "conscience" will get the better of him.
I don't believe he HAS one, like the rest of the Busheviks.

And as much as people want to believe that Colin Powell is a Free American, he is just another Imperial Bootlicker and Whore.

8. Damn straight, tom_paine
This piece of garbage who lied his ass off to the world at the U.N. is still touted by many as the good Bushie. Colin Powell should be tried for war crimes with the rest of the Bush cabalists.

13. Possibly this
United Nations Security Council members are weighing up the United States' revised draft resolution on Iraq, with the US pressing for a vote as early as Wednesday.

<<snip>>

If it goes to the vote, the resolution needs a minimum of nine "yes" votes out of the 15 Council members, and must not be vetoed by any of the five permanent members, which include war critics Russia, France and China.

14. It's His Turn Again in the A.W.O.L. Mal-administration
Edited on Tue Oct-14-03 06:17 PM by UTUSN
This mal-administration is MARKED by going AWOL, they all do it: At any given time, the question is, "Where is (insert name: Shrub, CHEENEE, THOMPSON, RIDGE, POWELL, et al.)" And it's always when things are hot in their (own, supposedly "assigned") area. Where was the Energy dude in the blackout?----literally, asleep at the wheel (traveling in England, asleep in the time zone). But POWELL and "conscience"?-------neh.
