People don't want to vote for repukes anymore, whether
it is for dog-catcher, school board, mayor, governor. Thank God I have lived to see the day....I thought the hell would never end. To me the elections mean: Anyone but a bushite.

:D

Do these same people who not vote for repukes buy repuke products? (They've got quite a list to sift through then, and they won't be happy when reading it...)

2. I don't think you expect that level of dedication right off
But then I'm maybe not the person to talk to about this issue; since I'm quite sure I continue to purchase from repuke companies (as you put it).

5. Good Call, Bryant!
The thing that concerns me about avoiding red companies, is the monolithic nature of some of these firms. If we take Wal-Mart as an example, the Walton family CANNOT be economically harmed by any failure of the store. They've already got gazillions invested OUTSIDE the store stock.

So, the people such boycotts hurt first and most are those folks making $8 an hour who have to have some job, somewhere, to make ends meet. Given that the greatest and quickest harm happens to the least able to endure it, and that no amount of business losses will ultimately economically damage the big shareholders (to any significant degree), it's a razor's edge on which to walk.

4. I do my best
to NOT buy from a Red company. I do admit sometimes it is impossible and I have to, but I always check http://www.buyblue.org/directory/alpha before I shop at a new store. If I can find the item at a blue store, even if it is slightly more I will buy it there.

3. Let's not get overly confident.
The election results were great for the most part but we are still a ways to go from the day when nobody will want to vote for a repuke. Still a lot of koolaid drinkers out there and a lot of clueless people who will still vote for a repuke because they seem "nice" but don't bother to check out what they really stand for. We need to continue working and not let our guards down.

6. The WSJ/NCC poll says only 37% want to re-elect their representative
with 51% wanting someone new. These numbers ARE new evidence that we truly can take back congress. With continued excellent recruiting, I'm beginning to believe we can do it in 2006.
