California:How many electronic voting machine were allowed in after Arnold

appointed a republican Secretary of State, to count our votes, (After elected Democrat, Shelley was forced out).

What counties were the machines put in? Were the machines Diebold or some other republican controlled machine company?

What effect, if any, will there be by tomorrow morning.

In the early morning hours, when we're all asleep, is when the machines seem to do their republican dirty work?

had some kinda county seal on them where the seal would be broken if opened.

I asked for and got a paper ballot.

3. But isn't it the software? They don't have to physically go into the

machines...

And that's the problem...they can tap into the machines from anywhere, and with no paper trail, were screwed....

7. I am, too, and we had the same. That's a switch from punch cards.

That means electronic tabulators for sure, right?

11. Yes and I'm so paranoid I double checked each and every ink dot and made

sure they corresponded with the NO (and the last 2 yes) votes to make sure there wasn't some misprint. There were NO ERRORS in my district. I like them better than the punch card ... no 'chads'

I know my precinct in SD county was with paper and ink ballots, I think that both the Dem SoS we had and the pubbie we have now decerted the Diebold machines.

and get our properly elected officials back in honest elections. I wouldn't be surprised if all of Arnold's initiatives conveniently pass. Have you noticed that there has been no exit polling?

10. San Bernardino - electronic voting with a paper trail

Before you push the "button" that registers your ballot, a cashier's receipt prints out a summary of your votes. It's behind a window, and the instruction is that if it's wrong you can clear it and re-vote. I thought it was a pretty good system, and I felt better about my vote than in 2004, when the machines had no paper trail.
