Can the left/progressive/Democratic/green/reality-based coalition keep enough pressure on the Bushists to rip Cheney's grip off the levers of power? We know he is useless to the nation, destined to be one of the lowest villains of history, a blot on America's soul. If there's justice in the world, at the very least, he will be driven out of power never to return. I don't think he will ever see the inside of a prison he hasn't designed for the torture of others. But I will be satisfied if he winds up a powerless, embittered old heart-attack waiting to happen.
