An enemy of the state

According to a printout from a computer controlled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Justice, I am an enemy of the state.

...My file begins on September 11, 2001, the day of the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington. A Marine guard standing post at the Navy Yard in Washington jotted down the license number of my Jeep Wrangler after I was spotted taking pictures of armed guards at the locked-down military facility....

....“Much of this information was gathered through what we call ‘national security letters,’” he said. “It allows us to gather information from a variety of sources.”

A “national security letter” it turns out, can be issued by any FBI supervisor, without court order or judicial review, to compel libraries, banks, employers and other sources to turn over any and all information they have on American citizens........

And before any of you say but Doug Thomson is crazy and this is CHB, ask yourselves, how many of you may be persons of interest... I KNOW, thi is not paranoia, I KNOW... I am quite possibly one of them due to actions I have taken since 9.11

"persons of interest" to these fascist thugs. it always amazes me that a group that professes to believe in freedom and limited gov't (at least that is what rethugs SAY they believe) is remarkably silent as this government slowly turns into a dictatorship.

just as one small item--when we held our local vigil after the "official" american military death toll hit 2,000, we were watched over by a helicopter circling overhead the whole time. they probably took down the license plates of every car near the park that night, too.

2. Can anyone doubt national security letters will be used to build enemies'

lists much more often than to track suspected terrorists, or other criminals for that matter?

problem is that many people to this day beleive you and I are ahem paranoid... and some will discount this story becuase.. tada!!!!!!!!!! comes from CHB... next step you will not be able to find employment if you are in the list, just as disidents were treated by the Rusians...
