Four in five Republicans still back the president
Can you believe these people, they refuse to take off their blinders or work on their intellect. If she was not so dumb, blind and hardheaded, would be laughable.

"I think he's done a wonderful job," said Gloria Bloecher, a Republican from Sherman, Texas. "He's done wonderful things for the economy. He rescued people who needed help in Iraq - it was the Christian thing to do. I still trust his people and the people he picks for the Supreme Court."

I do not buy it. They may still "back" him due to his position, but the writing is on the wall. He is a chimp in freefall.

4. Yesterday CBS had bu$h rating at 35%
So that would support my theory that the republicans in America are no where near the majority party.
If the Democrats would just get everyone out to vote they could beat the repukes every time. Unless there is cheating involved.

20. Um, there's always cheating involved.
Until we fix the election process it is going to be hard to win anything.

22. Yeah, think about what his numbers REALLY look like.
I even believe that whole "2% among Afican-American voters" report was inflated. 2% among Black Americans at this point sounds very generous to me.

5. "He's done wonderful things for the economy."
Um, yeah, if you call putting this nation's economy into the 2nd Great Depression "wonderful," I suppose so. Many people are finding that they're now unemployable thanks to GW Hoover destroying the economy.

15. No employment if you have been ill or are over forty.
Can't lose that productivity when you would have to go to the Doctor on your own dime. Great economy, or at least it will be once all the unemployable starve/freeze to death.

6. I am so disappointed in the people in that party who are still
so drunk on kool-aid. If this woman only knew what kind of Christan's are running her party and her country she'd probably have a coronary. That blind allegiance is so distasteful even if it is naivety. When will we be through with this UGLY UGLY American cabal?

7. People like
Frau Bloecher have a very narrow world view it seems. Kind of like they only get their information from a very limited amount of sources, like Faux news or the pulpit on Sunday.

There is no oversight from this congress from the right.... none, nada, zilch. They remain steadfast regardless of their constituents opinions. There needs to be allot of impeachments!

25. I agree.
They back the president and pretend each and every thing is going well, to protect one aspect of an agenda.

I believe almost all of the support is aimed to keeping Bush politically afloat until he gets supreme court picks through.

18. I've met a few, they don't cloud the issue with facts
the only difference between republicans and freepers is the spelling. They gladly vote for a confirmed deserter over a confirmed war veteran. (How they get around that, I'll never understand. )

Freepers are intellectually dishonest, mentally deluded, factually challenged, willfully ignorant, morally bankrupt, emotionally crippled, and sexually repressed.

Or, rather, anti-Bush=terrorist. Or terrorist/gay/"baby"killing/lying/whoring/soldier-hating/psycho.

They can't give it up. Even when Their Guy is fucking up. Good job, Karl, and all of his many, many helpers.

23. People like Mrs. Bloecher have been brainwashed by the misinformation
continually spewed forth in the media. There was a study that showed 80% of Fox News viewers held misperceptions about the Iraq war.

http://www.current.org/news/news0319study.shtml

The media has failed the American people terribly during the course of this administration.

26. Oh yes, it was very "Christian" of George to bomb Baghdad back to the
fucking Stone Age.

It was very "Christian" of George to sanction torture in the prisons.

It was very "Christian" of George to steal from the poor to give to the rich.

Oh, that logic is impenetrable, ma'am. You've stumped me. Moron. :sarcasm:

Party Candidate Votes V%
R George BUSH 34,679 70%
D John KERRY 15,062 30%
LB Michael BADNARIK 194 0%

I'm not buying this at all. My guess is that they cherrypicked data to use.
