You all need to know about the most dangerous repuke of the future...
It's Missouri governor Matt Blunt.

He's a first term governor with a LOW approval rating, but that won't stop him. He's only 34 right now, but already has his eyes on the white house for 2012. He is one who has a thirst for absolute power that is many times greater than that of even * or Cheney. There are some things that could hurt him though, he has a very low approval rating, and chances are he might not be re-elected as Missouri governor. Second, he has a part (indirectly) in the Tom DeLay campaign fund scandal. He allegedly received funds from DeLay to help finance his 2004 campaign.

Most anyone in Missouri can tell you this guy is scum, he has cut every social safety net program in the state that helps the elderly, disadvantaged children, and the disabled. He also stands up and defends Tom DeLay no matter what.

DU, do your homework on this guy, he's worse than * and we'll definitely be doing battle against him in the future.

1. Hmmmm.
Some very bad thoughts come to my mind sometimes. You know, I am an "exotic entertainer"....I wonder if there are any clubs in his area hiring. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......
I'd take one for the team, if it meant preventing something like our present mess.

Taking a bullet would be easier. Now, if you were to set your sights on *, that would be truly heroic. :)

Just kidding of course... of course.

9. I don't think he'd like me.
As blonde and ADD as I am, I don't think I am stupid enough for him. And to be perfectly honest, I think he likes....women of a different heritage. (Condi and the lady that was found dead after accusing him)
No offense to anyone!!!

2. memo to all union members at DU
Blunt is the guy who unilaterally revoked Missouri state employees' right to collective bargaining.

Stern, Sweeney, keep this guy in your sights.

3. So is Missouri going to re-elect him?
He won't have much future if the voters hate him enough to exile him to Lamar.

8. I HOPE not!
I'm thinking his goose is cooked, but then I don't know much. I never figured he'd get elected in the first place. He rode in on his pappy's coattails. He does not have a brain or a heart.

6. Yeah, I first
got wind of that guy during Katrina when he was busy touting the importance of repealing the inheritance tax. I was so outraged that he would be thinking about protecting the wealthy at a time when people were stripped of their human dignity and others were donating money and time to those who had lost so much, thanks to the incompetent croneys that I could hardly see straight. We should go back and retrieve some of the coverage of his outrageous inability to understand the people of this country.

11. You could be correct. I wrote off Ashcroft after he lost to Mel Karnahan
(a dead democrat) and look where he ended up because he was "between jobs".

15. I dunno, it's not very probable it seems.
Those funds were generated illegally by DeLay as you all know. DeLay then transferred them to papa Blunt. Then papa transferred them to junior. Of course the Blunt family asserts that they did not know this was funny money they were receiving, but at the same time they think that DeLay is innocent on all charges.

14. You're absolutely right!
And going by our track record:

Ashcroft
Senator Christopher "Kit" Bond
Representative Roy Blunt (Matt's daddy)
Senator Jim Talent
etc.

This bastard is definitely no good. I often wonder if the little puke or Ashcroft had something to do with Mel Carnahan's small plane crash.
