White House pays price for lies - Bill Press
http://www.sentinelandenterprise.com/opinion/ci_3174950

Karl Rove insisted he didn't know who Valerie Plame was, and didn't leak her name. He lied. Scooter Libby said he first learned about her from some reporter whose name he couldn't remember. He lied, too. But they weren't the only ones.

Dick Cheney said he didn't know who Joe Wilson was, and didn't know who sent him to Africa. President Bush told reporters he didn't know who the leaker was, but if he found out, he'd fire him. They also lied. And now the whole pack of liars has been caught at their dirty little game.

The indictment of Scooter Libby, the continuing investigation of Karl Rove, and the shame showered over George Bush and Dick Cheney -- does anyone really believe their top aides acted without their boss's knowledge and applause? -- are the price the Bush White House must pay for its campaign of deception leading up the war in Iraq.

Indeed, it was the phony case for war itself, not just the conduct of White House aides, which triggered Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald's investigation.

4. Dick Cheney said he "severed all financial ties" with Halliburton.
Then we find out he has made $8 million from his Halliburton stock.

There are so many lies, and so few special prosecutors.

Of course, nothing as important as a blowjob.
