After an ear numbing interpretation of analysis, speculation, and blabity blah this afternoon:
The fact is, friends, that Mr. Fitzgerald has not closed his investigation. Further, I feel it unlikely that all of the time and dedication put into this investigation would only yield one single indictment.
My theory, which may be wrong, but I feel strongly about, is that there will be several upcoming indictments.
The language of the Libby indictment specifically mentions Mr. Cheney on numerous occasions. More importantly, it names the original source as "A" instead of naming names. This, to me, clearly indicates that "A" IS A TARGET in the ONGOING investigation. Further, references to Mr. Cheney contextually hint that at least "A" is in danger of a conspiracy charge.
Last, the brief mention of Mr. Novak indicates to me that this portion of the investigation has not been resolved, which means that there is plenty more going on here and the full reach of the investigation HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED.
Over the weekend, you will more than likely hear assertions of Fitzgerald keeping it open to "mop up" or "dot I's and cross T's, etc..."
I SAY NAY
I say that he is on the verge of indicting on the larger issues, and thus, the higher level WH staff.
I SAY A BOMB IS ABOUT TO BE DROPPED.
As I have said before, let us be ready!
God Bless,
AGG
