64. Vandehei: "New evidence" kept Fitz ftrom indicting Rove (?!)
THe bit I found most interesting was Vandehei's claim that, during their meetings earlier this weekm Rove's lawyer presented Fitzgerald with some sort of new information that "gave him pause" and kept him from pressing an indictment. Hmm. If true, what could that information be? "Evidence" that exculpates Rove? An offer to turn state's evidence? What?

60. Wasn't that hilarious??
Okay, maybe they can't prove perjury on Pigboy now (though I think they could!)

But wait'll Pigboy is called to testify in Libby's trial. He can't open his mouth w/o lying. He's sure to commit perjury then.

To those who say there won't be a trial--I say there's virtually no way for the WH to get out of this w/o there being a trial. Libby hasn't "fallen on his sword" yet, and I don't see why he would. He had a big career, remember? Does he really want to end that career and just spend the rest of his days as a convicted felon? I don't think so.
