Which is worse for Rove and the WH
an indictment today, or the prospect of one that could dog him for the rest of GWB's term? A lot has been said and about Rove being distracted and the WH bumbling issue after issue as a result. I'm not so sure this is the reason for GWB's meltdown, but let's assume for sake of argument that it is.

For the WH, wouldn't it be better that Karl Rove be indicted and leave now? As the opposition party, would it not be preferable for this distraction to continue?

2. Continuation because there will always be that cloud over Rove's
head--will he be indicted or not. Obviously Fitz is not satisfied with Rove's answers or the investigation would not continue.

4. indictment is finality for the accused but not knowing when is worse
you can't make a plan and do something about something that hasn't come yet. its much worse to not know.
