Anyone specifically ask Mr. Wilson about DU?

I did. This is what I wrote to him a couple of days ago:

"I know a whole lot of people who would like to buy you and your wife a drink and shake your hands. In particular, the folks over at DemocraticUnderground want you to know that they are keeping you and Valerie in their thoughts, and are in awe of your courage. Any message I can take to them from you?"

His response is in the thread I put up.

I asked him this because so very many people here have worked on this issue and watched it so closely and are waiting on the edge of their seats for news. I thought it would be a nice thing to do for the community.

But hey, bite me, I'm self-promoting. Or something.

Keep up the good work. Keep your eye on the goal. The goal is not to please everyone in the world. The goal hopefully is to champion ideas you hold true and support those that show promise in championing those ideas.

11. Hey, as far as I'm concerned...

...thank you for mentioning DU and thank you for relaying Amb. Wilson's response. I for one am thrilled that he knows there is a whole cadre of people out here who have followed this episode with great interest, and are backing him all the way. We understand what we are dealing with, and we understand the kind of courage it takes to stand up to these fascist bastards.

And most of us, I dare say, feel privileged to post on a board frequented by the likes of William Pitt. If some people got pissy well, let 'em. Who cares. Geez.
