Yes, Tom DeLay is vile. But commenting on a person's physical appearance is out of bounds.

Remember when Rush Limbaugh called Chelsea Clinton a dog? (She was 13 years old at the time.) I thought it was as disgusting a comment as any person can make.

And I'm sorry to say that I don't find this thread much better. No one can help what they look like. Would you have a better opinion of DeLay if he looked like Brad Pitt?

Why don't we try to keep our comments on issues as opposed to physical characteristics? Sorry if I sound like a scold, but this is not the kind of thing we should be focusing on. Leave crap like this to Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and Coulter.

i try not to do it that much and usually focus on the issues. but for certain people there are times when i just want to go after them on other things.

also, you can't really compare attacking Chelsea to Delay. Chelsea was a kid and had nothing to do with politics.
