"Christmas Mornning when your parents WON'T GET UP"
Stephanie Miller just described it when she found out that indictments probably won't come down til next week.

2. Great description!
That is how I feel as well. Let's just hope that when we get downstairs, burglars haven't stolen our presents.

3. Not to turn this into a self-help thread, but
am I not the only one whose dad tortured his kids on Christmas morning by refusing to get up and forbidding them to go look until he did? I wouldn't have thought that was a common thing.

5. We were allowed to open our stockings
Before the parents got up. For some reason, they always gave my brother and me a brand new deck of Bicycle cards so when we were a little older we would play poker or blackjack and bet the candy and nuts in the stockings until our parents got up.

Now my brother is addicted to Texas Hold 'Em, and I'm a part time entertainer doing mainly balloons and... magic. Lots of card tricks.

7. My brother and I weren't allowed to leave our rooms
until the parents got up, and their room was between me and the Christmas tree so I never even tried sneaking a peek. Dad milked it for all it was worth. I've always thought it was kind of abusive.

4. There is a reason
that things happen as they do. Right now -- at this exact moment -- there are a number of people who inhabit the halls of power in Washington, DC, who used to feel untouchable. And right now, they have a sick feeling in their gut. Anxiety. Nervousness. Depression. Despair.

Should they get on the phone today, and have their lawyer place a last minute call to Mr. Fitzgerald? Say, "Can we talk?"

The pressure is on!

8. I have always been more excited than my kids. I am always up
Between 4 and 5 am I make my coffee turn on my camera and I go jump on their beds until the little buggers wake up.
