Predictions: What Day Does Fitzgerald Hand Down GJ Indictments ???

If...

...there are only 4 more regularly scheduled meetings (Wednesdays and Fridays, 10\19, 10\21, 10\26, and 10\28 {and yes, I know they can meet on unscheduled days if necessary}), and GJ's usually do not wait 'til the final date because they must have a quorum of at least 16 out of the 35 members, and hopefully Fitz does not want to break this news on a Friday like a WH document dump...

Then...

...I'm thinkin it will be on a Thursday, and I'm goin with THIS Thursday, 10\20.

Unless he's trying to cram the new wider investigation into the WHIGs (White House Iraq group) into the remaining time, or gonna ask for an extension of the GJ to investigate this further, I think he's pretty much got what he needs. And I'm goin with this week, on Thursday.

Anybody have a different prediction???

3. Indict on a Tuesday so lawyers get told on Monday. Will want to

do it as early in a work week as possible so that work can get done, but not an a Monday that would mean people would have to do prep stuff on Sunday when they are suppposed to be off.

The Sadaam trial is scheduled to start 10-19 in order to give the MSM something to talk about instead of the Rove indictments (ha!), but I dont think Fitz cares one way or another whether they talk about his indictments. I see him going down to the wire, using all the time he has got, so I am going to guess

and try to ignore it doesn't mean the people still won't go to jail etc. They'll have to talk about it sooner or later. And yes Fitzgerald doesn't care if they talk about it or not. He's just a guy doing his job.

Wednesday 10/19 for maximum political impact. Indictments

Why? Significant witness juggling toward the end signals he already has a strong case and needed only a few loose ends tied up. Should be an easy sell.

Possibly Friday, 10/21, if something unexpected comes up bf Weds and needs attention. Friday itself w/n be an issue, Fitz is obviously not a publicity hound and he won't care about the publicity dump aspect and the defense certainly isn't going to try to talk him out of it.

Will then take whatever indictments he can get and quietly begin using them in an extended WHIG investigation. (One hopes.)

Bush has an eclipse in his chart (astrology) on October 17th so I wouldn't be surprised if it's somewhere around that date. I get mixed signals on if Fitzgerald is going to ask for more time or not. I think it depends on how much time he works on this case to if he does or doesn't and what new information he has. I don't think we can really predict but I think it'll come at a time that nobody will suspect so he can surprise all the people involved and nobody can try to run away. What if someone does run away and they're indicted??

17. Indictments themselves will have big impact.

He'll indict on Friday to soften the blow, just like they did for Watergate indictments. Those came late afternoon. My feeling is that they will do that again.
