1. "Second term curse'??? wtf??
The war was a first term issue. Tax breaks for wealthy first term. Plamegate? first term. This guy was a loser from day one and methinks the presstitutes are beginning to build the image they want, just like they invented the mythology of Ronnie Boy being the "Great Communicator" who "united" the country. My aching ass. What will be bush be known as by these whores? "The unluckiest of presidents?"

2. bush is a bully
playing victim because he's made uncomfortable by suspecting his own cruelty arrogance and incompetence. All bullies play victim when caught.
But no bullies born of privilege who blow up frogs and bully the white house personnel are legit victims. Good may bush get his comeuppance and may it destroy him and his neocon fundies politically forever. And bankrupt them all.

stopbush, I didn't catch the Lauer interview, but I'm glad you noticed another instance of "Bush the victim" making the press rounds.

4. Lauer actually asked * some tough questions on Rove,
but * shrugged them off with the "not gonna talk 'bout en on-goin' investigation" gambit, and Lauer let it drop. Matt offered the victim gambit as an out at the end of the interview.

Today followed that segment with a Katie interview of Louis Freeh bashing Clinton. Katie asked some good questions but missed the main one: you say you had to investigate Clinton on multiple scandals. What were the results of the investigations?

5. If he's surrounded by such horribly incompetent people
why does he only get rid of the ones who tell him the truth?
