ASK C-SPAN TO AIR DEBATE - Evidence of 2004 ELECTION FRAUD !!
Stephen Freeman, PhD, Visiting Scholar at University of Pennsylvania KNOW statistics and he believes that the 2004 Election Polls indicate a very high probability of FRAUD in the Presidential race. U of Penn is a world-class university that would NOT host the debate with Freeman unless they believed that his case had some merit.

Please ASK C-SPAN TO COVER THE EXIT POLL DEBATE between Freeman & Warren Mitofsky THIS FRIDAY, October 14, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I just called C-SPAN to ask if they would be airing the Freeman/Mitofsky debate and they said that they had not yet decided -- they need more input from US.

Please email or call C-SPAN!

<http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=54651>

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 6 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Two experts face-off in lively
lectures and discussion about the utility of exit polls when compared to official counts, the potential for election fraud and the role of
statistics in adjudicating critical issues of public importance. The
University of Pennsylvania's departments of Center for Organizational
Dynamics and Political Science and the Philadelphia Chapter of the
American Statistical Association (ASAP) will host the debate.

Like most politically savvy Americans, Steve Freeman Ph.D., was glued to the television on election night, 2004. As he poured over exit polling data on CNN's website, he was fairly confident John Kerry was in the lead by a projected 5 million votes. But after all the votes were tallied, especially in the battleground states such as Ohio, the final tally swung well beyond the exit poll's margin of error to favor the President.

But unlike most Americans, Freeman holds a Ph.D. in Organizational
Studies, and is a Visiting Scholar at Penn's Center for Organizational
Dynamics where he teaches research methods, including polling. natural curiosity and academic diligence led him to research the issue in as much detail as possible, and the results appear in his forthcoming book on the matter titled, Was the 2004 Presidential Election Stolen? to be published next month by Seven Stories Press. His thesis is that the official explanation for the difference between exit poll and official results ("Within Precinct Error" or WPE) -- that across the country Kerry voters participated at a higher rate -- is unsupported by the data. Instead, the WPE is statistically significantly correlated with election administration variables such as Republican gubernatorial control, state electoral importance and voting technology. These relationships are inconsistent with theses of polling bias, but consistent with theses of electoral fraud.

In direct counterpoint, Warren J. Mitofsky, a fellow of the American
Statistical Association, and President of Mitofsky International, which conducted the exit polling for the 2004 election on behalf of the National Election Pool, believes Freeman's view regarding election fraud is not statistically accurate. Mitofsky contends that such "conspiracy theorists" after the election mistakenly claimed the exit polls validated their claim. He believes there was no evidence in the exit polls to substantiate these claims. Instead, he contends that on
election day the misinformation about the exit polls was spread by
inexperienced people trying to make sense of complex statistical data.
Mitofsky is currently writing a book on exit polling.

The two will square off in lectures and discussion on this very
important issue on Friday, October 14, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the
University of Pennsylvania Terrace Room, Logan Hall, 249 South 36th
Street in Philadelphia.

Coverage of the debate is by invitation through Larry Starr, executive
director, Center for Organizational Dynamics, 215-898-6967. Interviews
with Dr. Freeman and Mr. Mitofsky may be requested in advance of the
debate. For more information, please visit

5. Will Mitofsky explain why only exit polls of Bush races have been wrong
while exit polling of every other election and those in every other country have proven right?

2000, 2002, and 2004 are the ONLY races in modern history where exit polls have been wrong.

Funny, how that turned out, eh?

What are the numerical chances of that happening?

9. furthermore his own election polls substantiate
suspicion of fraud, but he later backs off and uses his involvement in the process to favor the president.. HE basically chose the president over his own company...

10. Great questions --
Keep in mind, though, that the exit polls in Florida in 2000 were correct, Gore did win when all the votes were counted - no matter what decision rule was used when counting.

Gore won even though thousands of people who would have voted for him were prevented from voting & even though there is evidence of electronic fraud that moved votes from Gore to *.

The exit polls in Florida in 2000 were accurate - this is important.

It was in 2004 when the exit polls and vote count were both fraudulent - the exit polls were biased toward Bush even before the 'final adjustment' indicated that he 'won'.

15. The point of my post was that ALL the exit polls were right while those
left explaining them spin their own polls to be wrong...when BushInc is involved.

What you mean to say is that the official vote count did not match them before they were "corrected". The initial, honest exit polls are our standard, not the other way 'round.

26. Done! Recommended! Here's my email to C-Span
Subject line: Please cover the Freeman/Mitofksy debate on elections/exit polls

Dear C-Span: I listen to you all the time on my satellite radio. There is NOTHING more important to me, or to the American people, than the integrity of our elections. Please, please provide full coverage of the debate this Friday, Oct. 14, between Steven Freeman and Warren Mitofsky. I was very upset by the Edison-Mitofsky firm’s and the commercial TV networks’ decision to CHANGE their exit polls, late on election day, to fit the “official result” (which was derived by “trade secret,” proprietary programming code in the central electronic vote tabulators), and I want to hear Mitofsky’s explanation, and Steven Freeman’s assessment of what took place that day.

I love your LBJ tapes broadcasts, and all your coverage of official hearings, Congressional debates and other important events. You are doing a tremendous public service! Please cover this absolutely vital debate on our election system!

Thank you!

A loyal listener!

Edited on Tue Oct-11-05 01:36 PM by mzmolly
Me: "Who is the VP of programming?" Receptionist: "I can't give out any names." Me: "Ok I'll google, thanks."

And the VP of programming is ..............

Terry Murphy who can be reached via phone at (202) 626-4886

However, I suggest an email at the address you provided instead of calling the VP as we might annoy them otherwise? The receptionist seems to be peddling fluff IMHO.

Thanks for the thread!

33. My email to C-SPAN (even though I don't have a TV that can get it)
I hope that you have decided to air the debate between Drs. Freeman and Mitofsky that will occur this Friday about the unbelieveable discrepencies between the 2004 exit polls and the "reported" vote for President. The evidence for a stolen election is overwhelming and the exit poll discrepencies are an important part of the evidence. The American people deserve to hear this critical debate.

If the German exit polls can come within 3/10ths of a point of the reported vote for the past three elections, why do we accept a "reported vote" that was almost 5 points off the exit polls in the U.S.? Why did the exit polls match closely the "reported" vote in U.S. precincts using paper ballots and vary widely in precincts that used paperless electronic voting machines? Why does every post-election analysis suggest that Kerry won by 4+ million votes and yet he is not in the White House?

Your decision to air the Freeman/Mitofsky debate may finally begin to shed some light (and bring some heat to bear) on the theft of our democracy. Please let me know if you have decided to run this critically important debate. Thank you.

Fly by night, Organizer
Gathering To Save Our Democracy

43. MITOFSKY and FREEMAN TO DEBATE !?!?!?!?!?
Edited on Wed Oct-12-05 07:47 AM by marions ghost
Yes! This is historic as far as getting to the bottom of what happened in s/election 2004. The exit poll data is a key piece of the puzzle.

Thanks IndyOp. I hope everyone reading this page today will send a short email or call C-Span to tell them WE WANT TO SEE THIS DEBATE . If some DUers near Philly can get there in person, that would be great. I will be so disappointed if C-Span doesn't air it--they will be doing a huge disservice to those concerned about bringing Democratic elections to America. We have been fighting an uphill battle with the media blackout on this subject.
