"What Freedom?"

This is a poem by my 13 yr old son wrote for school. We live in a red state. I'm very proud of him! He gets it!

What Freedom?

Even though the flag still waves
Soldiers are being sent to their graves.
Even though we are proud and free
Often we should be loud, and sing with glee.
We've taken a turn, this country has flopped.
All this madness must be stopped!
Why here, why now?
Please tell me...how?
