My LTTE: Bush Displays Contempt for Country

With his latest political appointment, Bush has once again displayed his complete contempt for our country. Apparently Supreme Court Judges really don’t need either judicial experience, or any background in constitutional law, as long as they’ve worked for Bush in a private capacity as both Roberts and Miers have done. This is right in line with his other crony appointments, including Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel (FEMA) with no background in Disaster Relief, and the VETERINARIAN he tried to put in charge of women’s health. On a sarcastically positive note, however, he does keep appointing industry LOBBYISTS opposed to watching out for the public’s welfare into key positions at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) who have allowed for increased amounts of “acceptable” fecal matter in our meat, at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where cancer causing pollution is now considered an acceptable and ignorable problem, and of course at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where no-bid contracts for disaster housing are awarded to companies who aren’t licensed to build them. How many more American lives have to be ruined before the Republicans do something about this disaster of a corrupt administration they have foisted upon us all?
