Where were you?
After today, I have to ask our democratic representatives.

When Bush declared war on and invaded Iraq, where were you?

And when Bush instituted what was obviously going to be a ruinous fiscal policy of massive military spending and massive tax cuts for the wealthy, where were you? We couldn't find you.

When it became clear that Bush had instituted an American policy of torture, where were you? We didn't see you.

I could go on, but the list of "Where were you" is just so depressing.

I heard Reid this morning state that if he thought that there was something really wrong with the next candidate for the Supreme Court that there were things that he could do. I guess that means he wasn't all that serious when he cast today's vote against Roberts? Or maybe we're going with the "just wait till next time" philosophy?

At any rate, its too late this time and there's really no reason to believe that next time or the next time or the time after that will be any different than this time. It appears the democrats don't play defense very well and don't play offense at all.
