New Zealand Labour wins election
Let's congratulate New Zealand on electing a sound government

Labour wins NZ election

PRIME minister Helen Clark's Labour party beat the opposition National party by one seat in New Zealand's cliff-hanger election yesterday, but neither party won a clear majority in parliament.

There was a surge in support for the opposition, which pledged to strip rights from Maoris and said it might scrap the country's nuclear-free laws.
