I'm Mr. Blue

My cranial matter lost all its glow
The day that I lost you
It lost all its reason the day you said no
And the grey skies turned to blue

Like it I am doubtful
That your kidney stones are true
So if Karl decides to call me
Ask for Mr. Blue

I'm Mr. Blue
When you say you love me
The prove it by goin' out on the sly
Provin' your love is untrue
Call me Mr. Blue

13. Could Old Hickory be saying?...
"Any man worth his salt will stick up for what he believes right, but it takes a slightly better man to acknowledge instantly and without reservation that he is in error."

or:

"It is to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their own selfish purposes."

or:

"The brave man inattentive to his duty, is worth little more to his country than the coward who deserts in the hour of danger."

6. It's the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans.
The St. Louis Cathedral is classified as minor basilica by the Catholic church. It is beautiful. I took a historical tour of the cathedral the last time I was in NOLA.

I was waiting for God to smote Bu$h* down with a giant lightning bolt on live TV for desecrating sacred ground, but, alas, God let him live another day. :(

10. It would be spectacular live TV, that's for sure!
 Maybe he'll just be haunted by the dead of NOLA nightly for the rest of his sorry life.

12. Another fantasy of mine...
W gets so distraught that he a) has a nervous breakdown in public, or b) publicly falls off the wagon.

I don't generally wish ill will on anyone, but even Saintly Goddesses such as myself have our limits.

5. hah - the blue scoop
Whenever Shrubbolini and his storm troopers have to appear sympathetic and acceptable they don blue shirts.

It's also an interview trick - I read somewhere about a thousand years ago about a study that said that people respond more favorably to strangers and people they are trying to make a decision about when they are wearing light blue than when they are wearing any other color, including white.

So, if you are going for "I'm practically one of you" impressions at an interview, wear a blue shirt or blouse.

The fact that this administration is so utterly transparent is almost worth doing a study. Seriously, when the spin doctors all get out and Cheney shows up on one news show and Shrubbolini goes to another photo op and Condi hits a different one and McClellan is somewhere else, they are all wearing the same shade of light blue. Check it out some time.
