"Dubya, you need to give a speech from New Orleans..."
"We'll stand you in front of the statue of Andrew Jackson. You can't even tell a hurricane hit it. It looks normal. A picture is worth a thousand words and it will appear you have gone to New Orleans and things are a whole lot better now. You can say we are making "progress" but we have a lot of work to do. And you can remind the American people that we still cannot take our eye off those that would do us harm - those terrorists. Then you can say that you will request from Congress more money - and as much as is needed - to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. Then you can spread the blame about so you do not take too much of it. You can say that the local, state, and Federal government made mistakes. Then you can mention the poverty that we need to address in our own nation. However, do not mention the 9 million people that have slid into poverty since you came into office. We'll have that little box on your back to relay the message if you need a little help. But, act very concerned and involved. This could be your last chance to save your ass..."

2. Will our Marines tear down Jackson's statue on the square?
Then pretend the N.O. people did it? I mean if Bush want's a photo op, that does seem like our modus operandi

3. kentuck, you must have been a fly on the wall!
"We are making progress, but we still have a lot of work to do" is what he says about Iraq, so that will probably roll off his tongue as if he really means it.

4. I think you've pretty much nailed it.
Check back with us tomorrow. I'm guessing you just posted about 80% of Bush's main points.

Add in a little "terra-terra, bad Iran," and we're there.

5. Surely there must be a statue of MLK in NO that he can stand in front of.

With his sleeves rolled up while he talks up how it's "hard work".
