No job = no money.

No money = no gas.

No money = no housing payment.

No money = no food.

No money = no water.

No money = no electricity.

No money = no garbage removal.

No money = no insurance payments.

No money = no new clothing.

No money = no ability to clean clothing.

No money = no ABILITY TO LIVE.

In short, no money = NO LIFE.

How's that for hyperbole, huh?! (and I bet that you could even think of a few things if you tried too! :bounce: )

and using it casually, as you did, is indeed hyperbole. Do you think the relatives of those who did suffer genocide would place unemployment in the same category? Yes, I have been unemployed. I cannot say it's anything like being murdered.
