More nurses and doctors turned away from NO
A co-worker sent this to me. She's very credible.

"On the hurricance front, my sister's neighbor is an emergency room nurse and she headed with another nurse and 15 doctors from Wishard on a plane to the "bayou" (not sure where exactly) on Saturday with medical supplies, their expertise, and body bags. Officials from Indiana FEMA approved the trip and told them where to go-she was back Sunday night-as FEMA down there ordered them out-didn't need the help they said. Fucking idiots."

I think her last two words sum it up very well.

1. I'm telling you, they built this disaster
Tell me these monstrous jerks cared about the welfare of anyone that might have gone in to save people.

Go ahead. Tell me this admin and it's reps had that concern in mind. Tell me they were worried about the lives of ordinary Americans. TELL me that was their justification in stopping help to these dying people.

Tell me it was to SAVE lives. Sure.

Damnit they built this disaster.

Doctors Hamstrung in Relief Efforts

By MARILYNN MARCHIONE, AP Medical Writer Sun Sep 4, 7:48 PM ET

BATON ROUGE, La. - Volunteer physicians are pouring in to care for the sick, but red tape is keeping hundreds of others from caring for Hurricane Katrina survivors even as health officials worry about potential outbreaks.

Among the doctors stymied from helping out are 100 surgeons and paramedics in a state-of-the-art mobile hospital marooned in rural Mississippi.

"We have tried so hard to do the right thing. It took us 30 hours to get here," said one of the frustrated surgeons, Dr. Preston "Chip" Rich of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. That government officials can't straighten out the mess and get them assigned to a relief effort now that they're just a few miles away "is just mind-boggling," he said in a phone interview.

While the North Carolina doctors waited Sunday, the first predictable signs of disease from contaminated water emerged on Saturday: A Mississippi shelter was closed after 20 residents got sick with dysentery, probably from drinking contaminated water.

3. Yep, they did it on purpose. What I am not sure about is why?
Maybe they are testing us to see if we will actually tolerate the killing off of segments of society they consider to be undesirable, or maybe they are trying to make a case for marshall law by US Army, showing that FEMA, local and state agencies were incompetent, thereby paving the way for them to say all cities must be guarded by armed troops. I don't really know what insidiously evil intentions led them to deliberately kill 10,000 innocent Americans, but, I truly do believe these devils planned it this way.

6. I don't think it can be boiled down to only one reason
Here are some of the reason that I've heard or thought of that make the most sense to me:

1) Theft of FEMA funds while pretending they are doing something, but they can't tell you (It would tip off the "terrorists").

2) Dispersal of a major Democratic voting block, in order to take control of a major Oil production region.

3) Killing off a major block of Democratic voters, same reason as 2.

4) Major "Urban Renewal" project. Now that the "Immanent Domain" law has gutted property rights of poor city folk, and all the people who are say they are not going to return, now they can bulldoze all the poor neighborhoods and build expensive condos and high rises.

I'm sure their are more theories floating around, but those seem most credible to me.

7. I think that "People are being put in the morgue to die..." story is hype,
Sort of. The process out at the Airport was and is called Triage . It's the same thing they do during ALL major disasters and during Wars.

When a medical system is overwhelmed with casualties (not enough Doctors or ways to get the casualties to the hospitals that are able to treat the severely injured) so they assign the victims one of 4 colors, Green, Yellow, Red, and Black.

Green - person checked, does not need further care.

Yellow - injured, but not so badly that they can't wait a while

Red - This person is injured and should be cared for first, they can be saved if cared for quickly.

and

Black (Black Dagger)- This person is either already dead, or will die soon and is beyond help. Nothing should be done for this person as it would do no good and could take care away from the Red victims.

The "Black Dagger" victims ARE left to die, but the hype is that someone started saying they are left in the Morge, which bring up all sorts of other "horror film" images.

5. I think it's a Mengele-esque experiment in mass triage
to justify the minimum equipment that they are using. By letting in outside caregivers, it would corrupt the data they need for justifying cuts.
