Listening to AAR for the first time right now!
Woo-hoo! It's f*cking brilliant!!!!!!

I've been living in the UK for four years, my brain about to explode watching Faux News occasionally and CSPAN Washington Journal on Sundays when my SO would 'let' me. Those were the only American sources of news.

I stayed up ALL NIGHT to watch all three debates (which came on at 3am and 4am, respsectively). I voted absentee (though I had to request a ballot THREE times to get one! First time this delay had happened... bit suspicious...). I spoke to all my friends and colleagues about *co, the stolen election of 2000 (when I protested outside Chimpy's bedroom window up until the Supreme Court Installation), lamented and defended American culture, and tried to hold out hope.

I came back her, basically, against my will. And, I hope, just in time to join the tide turning. Actually hearing someone, on the public radio waves, speaking exactly what I have been thinking for the last four years... is indescribable.

1. Mike Malloy is the best! Welcome to a medium that is worth listening
to. He is the most outspoken of all the hosts, but many of the others are worth listening to as well. Peace.

3. Welcome to the Oasis
Be sure to catch the Randi Rhodes show 4-7.

When I finally found AAR I could only listen to the Internet Stream. Now that we have a Dallas affiliate I have radios in every room tuned in. The Main Stream Media is now just a freak show that I occasionally view for a chuckle.

4. Mutiny
He's now reporting on the 'unconfirmable' mutiny in Iraq among soldiers who are angry about hearing of the living morgues.

Now there is a survivor with no power on!!! Who has not spoken to anyone since the hurricane hit.

OMG

7. Welcome Back!!! Glad to have you here.....
AAR has been my saving grace. It has kept me sane since the first day it aired. It will be pivotal for years to come to take our country back and return it to the country it was always meant to be.

10. Welcome StellaBlue.

AAR is great. AAR was a range of shows and hosts, and I recommend listening to all the shows and finding the show or shows that best suit you. Don't let your opinion of one show or host prevent you from giving the others a try.

Also, there's a number of other left-of-center radio and TV shows available, via the airwaves or Internet, including DemocracyNow!, The Thom Hartmann Show, Ed Schultz, etc. And, if applicable, check your DirecTV/digital cable schedule for DemocracyNow! and other LinkTV programming, The Al Franken Show on Sundance, and Al Gore's new TV network.

12. You'll love Stewart's show from Tuesday night.

He got a lot of detail in, and even included Barbara Bush's comment as a bumper heading to commercial.
