Let's go back in time. At 11:15 PM CDT on Monday, August 29, 2005, the flood walls were breeched and flooding was reported.
The following day, August 30, Northcom was ready to go with more than 9 million MREs, water, medical supplies, the whole shebang. All they lacked were orders from the Commander in Chief to move.
There was one person and one person alone who had the power to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, and clothe the naked in New Orleans on August 30, 2005. That person was George W. Bush.
So what was so important to the Nation that George W. Bush could not be distracted from it in order to give aid while New Orleans drowned? What is it that could keep a man who claims so vehemently to be a Christian from following the words of Jesus Christ?
