Homeland Security versus National Security ???
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 04:58 PM by stellanoir
Could someone pullease elucidate the subtle differences between the two. I simply don't get it.

So we get attacked by forces who had warned us we would get attacked and guess what, nothing happened to defend us against those forces. Then the soul of America gets obliterated by a force that had been long been predicted by residents, officials, environmentalists, and some politicians. To no avail.

There is no Federal Action for well over three days. There is no Federal assistance for well over three days, whilst the pResident is golfing, bike riding, eating cake, guitar playing, promoting his defious policies, and his Secretary of State who ignored the warnings of 9/11 was shoe shopping and taking in a show.

They didn't authorize the Federal support until it could be sychronized with his photo op. Thus causing more death and suffering in the process.

If we had a functional National Security Department then Homeland Security would have not been required and swallowed up and rendered most ineffectual, the Federal Emergency Management Administration.

What a sickening joke. This is far beyond absurd.

And completely inexcusable.
