9. Faith Based Disaster Planning

I'd guess that * was involved in a meeting last week where he was told that the damage wouldn't be that bad. He was probably told this by the same asshats that tell him global warming doesn't exist, passing the best possible scenarios as being the most likely to happen.

They did the very least possible, which amounted to little more than telling people to leave the area. Real contingency planning would have required mobilizing the national guard, setting aside food, water and medical supplies, etc. all of which costs money. Telling people to leave costs nothing.

This isn't LIHOP. This is criminal negligence.
