and so glad I found this place (thru a friend) but I'm here for other reasons. I feel we've reached a crucial point in the U.S. and the world for that matter. I believe that we wont see the change we need thru elections anymore...we've gone too far, and the kind of change will have to come from a revolution. And I think people such as the ones who gather here will be the people who bring us thru the change that is needed.
I saw a picture of a billboard in New Zealand a couple days ago. It was a picture of Bush it was an ad for a pizza chain, although you wouldn't really know it I guess unless you lived there and knew of the chain. Anyhow the words on it said "HELL, Too good for some EVIL Bastards" It was a an ad for "Hell Pizza"
Now....what is striking is that I have no fucking clue who the president of New Zealand is, and even if I did, I certainly wouldn't know enough to form such a strong opinion of that president.

Everyone knows of Bush and most hate him......which means we are targets.....if shit hits the fan and we we're faced with an occupation do you think anyone would care if we are DEM or Republican? Also, dont you think they would wonder why we didn't do more to stop the rape and pillage of this planet by these murdering bastard son-of-a bitches?
Sorry, went on a rant, but it scares me, truly frightens me to think about what its going to take for people to revolt. I think Cindy is the start of this ....I hope we will all help to bring this to a happy ending.

I am glad I found this place too- it is the only way I can stay sane. I wake up and go to sleep in a state of extreme worry about this planet and how things have gone so wrong. I agree that we are at a critical point, and you are right- Cindy may be the spark that starts the flame burning.

And yes, YOU ARE PROBABLY going to get some hollering! But just take it in stride, I've learned the hard way too! I've been "hit" several times myself, as I'm sure others have. You know... that BIG TENT thing!

I like you have gotten terribly disgusted with the "selection" instead of an "election", but my bumper stickers are still on my car! And I live in REPUKE COUNTRY!! Some have started to fade, but will be replaced.

Living in Florida makes a person really feel "small" and definitely "left" out and I've wondered and pondered just what to do. On top of that, and I've said it here about 500 times, Katherine Harris is my representative! How's that for a barrel of laughs???

Election reform is drastically needed and I'm very disgusted that much much more isn't being done. Oh, you hear this or that, but it's the same thing about "the corrupt ones", you hear this or that, but in the end.... NOTHING seems to stop them!

I have NO answers, only more questions. I've been politically active since I was 12 and I have never seen anything like this! I'm really upset that the Democratic leaders haven't had the cohones to do more. I mean at least HOLLER LOUDER! There are a few who are trying to make a difference, and the strange thing about that is that most of them are NOT WHITE!!

Just for clarification, I AM white and I have great admiration for Conyers, Waters and many of the others in the Black Caucus. Guess they just know how to fight better, but I applaud them!!!

There's one Ray of Light shining through right now and her name is Cindy Sheehan! And as I do most of the time these days, I urge everyone to join the March To Cease The War on September 24th in D.C.!
