Hillary Clinton must want us to see more sex in video games
I have owned Grand Theft Auto for monthes, and I never knew that this "hot coffee" mod existed until she pointed it out to me. I assume there are probably millions of others out there who know about it now because of her as well. If it wasn't for these politicians who want to "protect our children" there would have probably only been a few computer nerds who would have seen this mod, but now because of them I am sure children all over the country are modifying the code of the original game just so they can see it.

Out of the package Grand Theft Auto is an M rated game, but they are now telling us how we can make it into an AO game all in the name of family values. You gotta love these politicians.

1. Agree.
It makes me mad. Stupid politicians (Though I love Hilliary) and stupid parents.

"Oh, it's rated M so why don't we get it for our very mature 12 year old?"

2. Shit, I immediately bought the fucker. I've never played it, but now
I will.

I have a special spot in my heart for would-be censors.

5. Enjoy.

The thin plot of the missions will make you cringe, but the map is utterly fantastic and the dialogues are hilarious.

Hilarious isn't it? I remember years ago watching the 700 Club for shits and giggles, back when Marilyn Manson first started to get semi-big. I'd never heard of the band but the way Pat Robertson was going on about how terrible they were I just knew I had to run out and buy the CD.

(I thought they peaked with Antichrist Superstar, but yeah, I liked them. So sue me. :P)

On Edit: Mr. Chovexani is Australian, and they have a censor board for video games. :puke: When GTA3 came out over there, it somehow survived intact, but then word got to the censors about the hooker trick, and they halted sales of the game. A while later, Rockstar was forced to come out with a heavily censored version over there. The result? PAL copies of the original GTA3 went for obscene amounts of money on eBay. :P

4. I'm not complaining...
...I got my copy a long time ago. When I did, I mail ordered it in advance. Young gamers (of which I am not) generally don't just walk into a store and pick stuff up off the shelves and say, "hey this looks neat." They need to save their money for cheeze puffs and orange soda, so they do their research first.

I'm sure R* will sell a lot more copies now, as well, and the profits will go to those stores that carry AO titles, not the ones who like to look "kid friendly." All those 18+ big brothers going out and picking up a few copies for their siblings. I bet they will have to print more.

The only market this cuts into is the used game resale and rental market. That couldn't be better for R*, because if you can't trade/rent it, you'll have to buy a new copy.
