1. it qualifies them as claims
I don't agree with the claims, but it doesn't state the claims as fact. They seem to be a hamhanded paraphrasing of various people's complaints and are generally inoffensive, though I don't really see the need for a criticism section.

2. I noticed the wikipedia section for the Freerepublic
doesn't have a Criticism sub category. Why is that?

4. They did insult the post quality though

I read some snarky comments, not sure if they meant to be.

They should definitely have a criticism category.

5. Not truly liberal or progressive? Ban people left of Kerry?
wow. How have I managed to stay this long? shhh, don't tell anyone but I am way left of Kerry. way way way way way. They still haven't decided if Will Pitt is a hoax or not either. Oh well. It looks ok, not what I'd say, or how I'd present it, but I'm not Queen of the Universe or even of wikipedia yet.

Something from Freep site description puzzles me "However, ample examples exist of criticism of the President and Congress for not being sufficiently conservative or living up to the group's ideals."

7. Will Pitt's a lawyer?
The Wikipedia article on him (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Rivers_Pitt) says he practiced law here in San Francisco for two years. I never knew that.
