The British, especially MI5 and Home Secretary David Blunkett, had not wanted his name made public, and were furious at all of the detailed information being given out to the public by the Bush administration or in consequence of its revelations

Did the Bush Administration put people in danger just so they could get political mileage out of making public the success of their war on terror??

I say they are treasonous criminals and all should be arrested.

(I'm getting sick of 'mastermind') is thought to have entered Britain via a sea port some time last month - and BBC TV has said he was on a 'watch list'. But they either didn't think he was worth keeping under surveillance, or they didn't have the manpower to do it, so they lost him (they think he left the country the night before the bombing). The British alert level was decreased at the beginning of June.
