Isn't it odd....
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 05:30 PM by Emerson
That public support in the UK was never behind invading Iraq under the guise of protecting from terrorists... and now there is an attack on the UK.

I wonder if this was intended to get the UK public behind further rights limitations in the UK and get more support for going along with bushco...

on edit: I would also like to extend my sympathy to those killed and hurt in the UK. I hope that they do not allow this event to cause them to lose their heads and allow the gov to go in to fascist mode as it has here.

2. Yeah, But How Does Blowing Iraq To Hell Help Protect People In London
The entire War On Terrorism rationale is flawed. No-one will EVER win a war on terrorism. Ever.

3. Exactly the point
But the right in the UK will frame this as a reason to further dedicate the UK military to going along with bushco.

4. If they're smart, they won't fall into the same trap that
more than half of Americans fell into after 9/11.
