Got my first call from the RNC!
They're desperately raising money because the "Democrats are obstructing everything!" "$100 would be a great help."

I told her that Bush was leading the Country over a cliff in every area, Iraq, the economy, the environment, the courts and education, and that hell would freeze over before I gave any money to the RNC. She became sort of quiet and said she'd contact them and have my name taken off the list and hung up.

So much more I could have said, but this call came from Mars and I wasn't prepared.

2. Hey, almost the same thing happened to my mom!
She told me that they called the other day, looking for my dad (who has been dead for 10 years) and finally asked her if "she was a Republican, too". Which is odd because my dad wasn't a Republican, either. So, my mom sort of snorted and said, "Uh, no!" and hung up. What's up with the cold calls? Seems a little desperate.

3. Did you take a shower after you hung up?
I think I'd have to after taking such a call.

4. They Called Me Also
Last Friday I got a call at my job asking for me by name. The woman stated that I had been elected to hear Bush speak (I have voted Dem for last 30 years). I told her I was probably the last person to go see that horses ass. She said well could I listen to a speach that he was going to give. I said, "Lady, I'm the last person on the planet that wants to listen to that asshole say anything at all." She said I understand and hung up. I yelled over to my boss, "That call should have been for you, (he is a Bush supporter). I laughed my ass off and called all my friends. I couldn't believe it.

5. Don't forget that the telemarketer might be somebody
who was offshored out of a job with a living wage, too.

Your response was polite and to the point, exactly what it should have been.

10. You Never Know
I have been waiting for the FBI or CIA to come crashing into my work place and handcuff me for calling the president an "asshole." I would love for them to come knocking because I have a lot more I would like to have said to them.

11. Hehe
Nice response considering you didn't expect the call.

I went to my local mall and the National Guard was there passing out things. My haircut is really short and I am 25, so I fully expected to be given the pitch. As I approached where they were setup, I tried to think of what to say without being to over the top. I walked by and all of the guys there smiled at me, but didn't say anything. I was happy they didn't preach to me and I continued on to the store I was heading to.

12. Good response
I don't know if I would have just busted out laughing and told them to flake off or if I would have said something more constructive.
