Democratic Convention, 2004
As I see it, two candidates will have about 70% of the delegates going into the convention, the rest distributed among the other eight. For once the convention won't be a coronation - it will be exciting, big time politics.

In the end I think the nominee will be whoever best represents the interests of Democrats qua Democrats, not necessarily one thought to have the best shot against Bush. This person may not be one of the current favorites, or indeed one of the two leading candidates going into the convention.

This is shaping up as a really interesting political contest. I'm looking forward to it!
