Took a Zogby Poll today that mainly asked if Maria Shriver should host a
new radio show for women. Of course it had a lot of other hoop-la in it, but this was the main question.

I answered that a Republican Governors wife should NOT be the new host. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of who would be a good host.

1. I got that poll too..

It was trying to make all women "of a certain age" into some kind of homogeneous group. I said that about 50% of their target group were idiots, and I wouldn't associate with them under any circumstances. I also said I often prefer the company of men and kids of all ages..

stupid survey..

2. It was the stupidist poll by Zogby that I have ever taken. I assume some
body pays them to conduct a poll for them. I guess Maria wanted to know if she would have an audince. I'm surprised she used Zogby now that she is a Republican. Zogby's pretty much a Democrat.

3. I took it yesterday too.
I never liked Maria as a fake journalist even before she married Ahnold so I said so. I really couldn't answer most of the questions. I suggested Paula Zahn in her place. Or as I put it, Maria is an Airhead and I can't think of anyone else in her league other than Paula Zahn.

I'll be that idea is going to be dropped like a hot potato.

4. Obviously marketing...
Zogby does polls for anyone who pays the price. All they or any other pollster can assure is that the sampling is random and the methods "scientific" within the bounds of the questions.

BUT HERE IS THE ZOGBY POLL I ONCE GOT TO CO-DESIGN

5. I just finished it
Yeah, Maria Shriver. I noted that if she had anything to do with it, I wouldn't consider participating. No reason given - just that I would be turned off. I did list Jane Fonda and Oprah as women I think would do a good job with a radio program.

Remember the question where they asked us to list the women who were doing a good job as they get older? I put Randi Rhodes and Jane Fonda in my list. That should give them an idea of where I'm at. I might not have remembered Jane but I picked up her autobiography at the library today.

About the women I think of for reaching my own fulfillment in life? I listed myself, my mother and female friends. I suppose they hoped for celebrities. And I had no idea who any of the authors were. Not a single one. Guess I'm not into self help books.

Oh, one last thing - I listed DU, Buzzflash, BartCop and places like that as my web sites of interest. Current events are important to women. Red Hat Society and such are sites I wouldn't make time for.
