Republicans in Last Throes of Absurdity
Holy crap, is that an IED in Nancy Pelosi's briefcase? Duck and cover!

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), who joined Pryce at the press conference, told Cybercast News Service that it "is just inconceivable and truly incorrigible that in the midst of the war, that the Democratic leaders would be conducting guerrilla warfare on American troops..."

Yep, inconceivable. And yet, somehow, even though Democratic leaders are not actually conducting guerrilla warfare on American troops, Wilson managed to conceive it. And, as it turns out, he was just getting started:

"The American taxpayer is already providing accommodations for detainees, who are currently more comfortable than most of our men and women in uniform..."

Indeed, after a long day patrolling the chaotic streets of Iraq, is there any better way to unwind than to chain yourself to the floor and shit all over yourself? Unfortunately, liberal turncoats seem determined to deny U.S. soldiers such comforts. — GREG BEATO

2. You know, if Democratic leaders really wanted to make war on our troops
We'd send them halfway around the world with inadequate numbers and body armor for a bogus cause, an indefinable mission, and no exit strategy beyond delusional rosy scenarios.

Because THAT would surely be wrong and a humongous waste of our national resources and unforgivably damaging to our national security and standing in the world community.

5. Utter and total BULLSHIT....
The American taxpayer is already providing accommodations for detainees, who are currently more comfortable than most of our men and women in uniform..."

From what I saw on Frontline the other night, our Troops are being very well provided for by KBR, at a very high price. (except body and vehicle armor, that is) I didn't see one soldier standing on a chair with a hood over his head and electrodes hooked up to his testicles.

These fuckwads are going to start a civil war in our OWN damned country if they keep this crap up. Maybe that's what they want? There is no semblance of civility or truth present in the GOP anymore. They're out of control, totally out of control.
