Bush, Bolton and transparency

"The reason for those in the Senate not voting for cloture was that the Bush malAdministration "refused to be transparent" with regard to the documents requested by the Senate regarding John Bolton!!

It was interesting to read what Bush had to say about John Bolton and the reason for his nomination to this post:

"The U.N. is an important organization and the American people, I think, will understand how important it is when the U.N. is reformed and is held to account. And so we want more accountability and transparency and less bureaucracy. And John Bolton will help to achieve that mission," he added." more...

1. Bush is acting a first grade bully telling the rest of the class
that he and his appointees are in charge and the rest of us can just shut up.

2. No-- he's not a bully-- he doesn't have the cojones to be one
To me he's like a spoilt little BABY, throwing a rantrum because
he doesn't get his own way. :nopity:

Welcome to the real world, you moron. Too bad you never learned
any of Life's lessons.

3. when they say obstructionist, we should say 'cover up'
it was maddening listening to this on npr today, a bunch of quotes framing the story (obstructionists! up or down vote!), none of it favorable to democrats or even mentioning the real issue, that Bolton is one of the dirtyest of the dirty, one of Bush's hatchet men, helped steal the 2000 election, may have been the one to out Plame; and Bush, by not releasing information is doing a COVER UP of Bolton's guilts

4. Transparency
Monty Python where are you. How can Bush stand there with a straight face and talk about the "transparency" Bolton would bring to the UN when this administration won't be transparent about Bolton, they aren't transparent about anything. Do people in this country think at all? Lord I hope so.

Also Bush and Cheney said that people who they had released from Gitmo had gone back out and killed Americans. How do they know that, who are these guys and maybe if they had a trial, with a jury, before release they would have found out these guys might take up arms against the US. Nonetheless, who are these guys, and how do Bush and Cheney know this. The media just dutifully prints the dumbest things and no one asks "what do you mean?" Incredible. No one could write a script this strange.
