Jackson Acquitted
Edited on Mon Jun-13-05 04:32 PM by Andy_Stephenson
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A jury acquitted
Michael Jackson on Monday of molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor at his Neverland ranch, vindicating the pop star who insisted he was the victim of mother-and-son con artists and a prosecutor with a vendetta.

Jurors also acquitted him of conspiring to imprison his accuser and the boy's family at the storybook estate — a total legal victory but one that may do little to improve his bizarre image.

The verdict — reached after about 30 hours of deliberations over seven days — ended a star-studded, four-month trial that offered a global audience a lurid look into the weird world of Michael Jackson and presented jurors with vastly different portraits of him: a creepy pervert who preyed on little boys, or the victim of a frame-up by mother-and-son shakedown artists.

15. Not really the problem
It's too bad the prosecution had witnesses testify to abuse when the supposed victims denied it. How do you believe anything these witnesses had to say?

11. Andy, you know I think the world of you, and...
I wish I had 1% of your courage, but don't you think that the jurors may just have had a little better sense of the truth and details of this case?

& should have been sitting at the defense table alongside Jackson.

I think Jackson has arrested development & is trying to live out the childhood he never had. As famous as he is, he should stay away from children because that makes him an ideal target for those who see dollar signs.

Edited to add a :hi: Andy. Take care. :)
