How did that slippery snake, j.sessions...
Edited on Mon Jun-06-05 04:58 PM by slor
try to defend JRB and her willingness to allow one's boss to use racial slurs in the workplace? Did anyone see? Or did he just forget to mention it. Thanks!

2. On CSpan: After Boxer railed upside Janice Brown's...
nomination, jeff sessions defended her. What was his defense of the case I raised in the question. Thanks!

3. He didn't even try to address the criticisms of JRB
He just stuck to the usual repub talkikng points about her - her life's story, the 76% vote that she got (ignoring that she was unopposed), and all that.

The telling point came early in his speech when he said that she was mainstream because she agreed with Bush.

He droned on for over a half an hour about how dangerous "activst" judges are, how she's no activist, how he agreed with her decisions, etc.

Usually I enjoy listening to Southern voices but his just grates on my nerves so I didn't listen too carefully to what he had to say. If the tv had been closer to the computer, I probably would have tuned him out but I let him drone on... and on... and on... and on...

4. Has any Dem used the 76% vote AGAINST her? I mean who get's
only 76% of the vote when running unopposed? Almost of quarter of the voters hated her so bad they voted for an opponent that wasn't ON THE BALLOT? The ballot had JRB as your only choice and 24% found someone else to vote for!?!

Note: The reality of the vote is irrelevant, above is a freeper-head-exploding example only.
