Must just drive the Repugs crazy trying to figure out which Dem to attack
They remind me of my kids on Christmas morning. First they were playing with this toy. Then that toy. Then another toy. An hour later they were playing with the boxes that all of the toys came in. I am laughing like hell just thinking about it.

1. A good strategy, maybe.....
too many candidates to focus on, butthe converse works to the Dems advantage...focus on Bush 9 different directions/perspectives.

3. Wait till it gets sliced & diced down to one.

The repubs are using this time to dig up the dirt and refine their smear job for when the time comes. Anything now is just practice.

4. I think the Dems will be doing this same thing during this time
But we only have one person to key on. Bush.

6. Yeah, Clark's entrance must really be throwing them for a loop.
First, along comes Dean, who they don't really quite know what to make of yet, and now here's W's competition for the mantle of "war president", should it turn out that that's what people want. And the only thing they know for sure is that either one can kick W's ass in a debate.

7. They hope we will do their work for them
ala LIEberman's "dean Depression" remark. If the candidates keep focused on Bush and don't get nasty on each other, the Repugs will be gnashing their teeth.

This will be hard to sustain as the primaries get underway - but it is critical to keep Rove off base.
