Bush Doctrine (from Atrios)
Bush Doctrine

This has been bugging me for some time but I can't possibly be the only one who has noticed. Internet connection is too crappy to look into this deeply right now, but has anyone else noticed that our media allowed the "Bush Doctrine" to magically evolve from "pre-emptive war against anyone who might want to hurt us" to "spreading freedom and democracy throughout the world" without blinking?

Atrios

"...our media allowed the "Bush Doctrine" to magically evolve from "pre-emptive war against anyone who might want to hurt us" to "spreading freedom and democracy throughout the world" without blinking?...

And all the lies in between - WMDs, nuclear aluminum tubes, a threat to his neighbors and to the US, etc...etc...

1. The real Bush Doctrine
is to lie to everyone so as to be able to get on with the agenda, which is corporate domination of the world.

3. Read Rebuilding America's Defenses by the PNAC, then study
Leo Strauss. That should give you a good working knowledge of the bush doctrine, and why he is doing what he is doing to our social institutions.

4. I think they started changing their tune
when Hans said there were no WMDs. Shortly after that, Rummy even stopped lying about them.

Kinda like traitor. It seems like it was used occasionally at the onset of the war but considered to severe. Now, it's making a comeback of sorts and used against anyone, the most recent being the gang of 14 for their deal. There were other stories this last week but I can't recall them. Does anyone else see this or did I miss some traitorous news sound bites this last year?
